Changelog

What's new across the oceans. Current version: v0.5.0.

v0.5.0Latest

Fleet table & ship names

  • Rename your vessels from the Fleet overview, in port or at sea. Names are 1–32 characters and must be unique in your fleet; the new name shows everywhere, including past transactions.
  • The Fleet overview is now a table you can sort by any column and filter by status or search, just like the freight market.
  • Select a vessel row to see its details and actions: Find cargo, View vessel on map, Rename and Sell.
v0.4.3

Roadmap & documentation

  • Updated project documentation with a development roadmap and architecture decisions. No gameplay changes.
v0.4.2

Faster fast-forward

  • Simulation speeds are now 1×, 10× and 50×.
  • Saves that no longer fit the game are reset to a new game, with a notice, instead of blocking.
v0.4.1

Floating details & quicker cargo

  • Vessel and port details now float as a card over the map, so the map no longer resizes when you open or close them.
  • The 1× game speed is now much slower, so freight offers and prices are easy to read.
  • The freight market shows a countdown and progress bar to the next batch of offers, and a notice when new offers arrive.
  • Ports whose marker and name are shifted for readability now show their true position with a small anchor dot and a clearer dashed line.
  • Find cargo straight from a ship in the Fleet overview: opens the freight market for that vessel and its port.
v0.4.0

Overlays & freight table

  • Browse freight in a large sortable, searchable table and expand any offer for full details before accepting.
  • Finances, Fleet and Ship Market now open as large overlays over the map.
  • Jump between overlays with tabs; your freight filters and open offer are remembered.
v0.3.0

Fleet & ship market

  • Compare six container ships, buy vessels and have them delivered to their listed ports.
  • Manage multiple vessels and voyages independently, with a fleet overview and map selection.
  • Sell idle ships in port and review fleet value, total wealth and ship transactions.
  • Restore older saves into the new fleet format without offline simulation.
v0.2.0

Freight & finances

  • Find cargo in the freight market, compare earnings and costs, then accept a contract and sail.
  • Trade in both directions on five sea connections, with new freight offers over time.
  • Track cargo, delivery deadlines and voyage progress. Deliveries settle automatically on arrival.
  • Review your balance, income, fuel, port fees, operating costs and late delivery penalties in Finances.
  • Reposition your vessel without cargo using ballast voyages with a cost estimate before departure.
  • Keep contracts and financial history in local saves, including upgrades from v0.1 saves.
  • Read release history from the Changelog button in the game footer.
v0.1.0

First voyage

  • Explore a world map with 15 ports, zoom controls and selectable ports and vessels.
  • Command Ocean Pioneer on the Rotterdam–New York route and follow its position, ETA and progress.
  • Pause the simulation or sail at 1×, 5× and 20× speed.
  • Save progress locally and resume on pause without offline simulation.
  • Use the maritime command center on desktop and mobile.
